My inspiration for the rag rug.

I was watching HGTV and this is where I found rag rugs:

I guess along time ago, this is how the made rugs, by braiding, and tying scrap pieces of fabric together. I wish I could find a better picture. This is the style that I like, the loose frilly style.
The more its walked on, the more antique it looks, and the more character the rug gets.

I would use light pinks, light blues, light yellows, whites.. mostly pinks and whites though... and some of the fabric I would want it to have a rose print, or a calico print, that way it gives the rug more depth.

It would be cool to have different shades of pink, blue, and some white, and brown. i like this "runner" type of rug very much!
