Copy cat frap

I love Starbucks. I love green tea frappachinos more.

I get it once a week and decided buying the powder and making my own (at home!) is better than spending so much $ at the coffee shop.

Two drinks alone pay for this powder. It's ridiculous lol !!

I love anything green tea. Looks like I will have more green tea smoothies and fraps in my life!

Orange chicken !!!

Nothing like getting everything ready- letting the meat sit in the crock pot on the wrong temperature setting ... Ugh.

That's ok- meat is cooking for tomorrow's dinner - through everything on the stove and caught up :)

Pox !!

Mama's baby has pox! Just a reaction to vaccines, nothing to worry about. Only, I'm Mom and worry about everything! Lol

Snack time! She ate blueberries (her favorite) raspberries and strawberries :)

She had a few extra helpings of blueberries <3

Brunch!

I made brunch for my family and bestie today!!

German pancakes with lemon and powdered sugar! Fruit and sausage! Delicious!

Freezer meals

Stay tuned: Sunday I am making freezer meals! I have a few ideas ... I'm ready to get started!

Tomato pie recipe

My good friend Mindy made me a tomato pie a few months ago ... It was delicious.

This inspired me to make one yesterday.

There are many ways to make a tomato pie. You always have to start with a pre baked pie crust.

Chop up half an onion and put
It on the bottom of the pie. Add sliced tomatoes or cut up tomatoes...

Sprinkle basil (fresh if you have it)

Use three cheeses- Parmesan, mozzerella and sharp cheddar - mix w some real mayo- add a layer of it on top- bake at 375 for 25-30 min.

Yum!

Relaxing day

I didn't work today. Which was really nice. I spent the day relaxing (as much as one can with a one year old) I got caught up on some magazines.

The husband brought home Chinese (what I was craving) and after dinner drew me a bath and lit some candles so I could relax some more.

I am really trying to enjoy this last bit of my pregnancy. I am so ready for Cora. I can't wait to meet her!

Here is a pic of Emma and Ava earlier:)

Ava was brushing Emma's hair :)

REDKEN Frizz Dismiss Product Review

Redken Frizz Dismiss Review

The great thing about being in my line of work is companies love giving out free product for you to try... Hoping you will love it.. Buy it... Use it and sell it!

I got these free samples recently and thought I'd review them tonight.

I have to say I really really like them. I don't have a lot of frizz (straight fine hair here) but it did make my hair soft and healthy looking. I also loved the scent. It's not over powering. Definitely would recommend this to clients or anyone who battles frizz.

Mission: organization planner style

I think I am going through nesting... I have all the signs- buying 25346 cleaning products.. Keeping my house spotless.. And now it has overflown into a new type of organization-

Home organization binders..
Working on my filing system that i implanted years ago
Monthly budget planners
Spreadsheets
Personal planners...

It's insane. I reaaaaaally want this "life" planner.

It is broken down into months, weeks, days, hours. Also lists personal goals etc. I love to get organized. The catch? It's $75! Probably totally worth it to most people but I can't get myself to purchase it. I'm going to look around and see if I can find/make one cheaper.

Dollar Genral has a monthly bill organizer/ budget planner that is AWESONE for $2! Yes, $2! Haha I've used it in the past and loved it.

I mentioned it to the husband and today he went and got it... Totally in tune to my MIssion: Organization theme I have going on today.

The great thing about it is that it has envelopes to keep bills, receipts, anything you might want to keep track of for the month. I highly recommend getting one if you don't have one!

Steak fries with aioli

A great way to jazz up frozen fries is to make an aioli with it!

Here's a cheap version:

1/2 c Real mayo
1/2 Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp minced garlic
3 tbsp parsley

Obviously fresh ingredients is best! (Cheese, lemon, garlic & parsley)

I didn't plan ahead on making this- just through the idea together- trying to jazz up the fries.. But they still tasted great. We paired this up with our Dr. pepper bbq pulled pork sandwiches. Perfect food for our Walking Dead Sunday... :)

Dr pepper pulled pork recipe

Dr pepper pulled bbq pork

3-4lb pork tenderloin
12-15oz dr pepper (or coke / rootbeer)
Half onion -sliced
Favorite bbq sauce (entire bottle)

Mix bbq sauce and soda together-
Put tenderloin in crockpot- poor liquid ingredients on top
Add onion
Cover
Turn on low for 6-7 hrs
Shred meat - add fav bbq sauce

Depending on how many people are eating split the meat before adding more bbq sauce- meat wout sauce would be perfect for pork tacos!

Ava loved it

Essie sleek stick nail wraps

Croc'n chic

I tried these nail wraps by Essie. So far so good! I've had them on three days- my hands are constantly on water- no lifting or problems. I'm hooked! I bought 10 of them the other day. Sure beats polish! They went on in no time, extremely easy to put on. They also came w a cuticle stick and a nail file (everything I needed) one tip i will say is buff your nail (to get rid of natural nail oil) they will adhere better and last longer! Super fun, super cute!

Homemade laundry detergent

I've made this post before, but it's been a few years. I love homemade detergent ! I make a batch every month or couple of months. I use way more than I should, but it's worth it to me (I love my clothes smelling fresh and super fragrant)

Here's the ingredient list:
Purex crystals
Baking soda
Borax
Washing soda
Oxy clean
3 bars of felsnappa (shaved)

Thrift store strikes again!

I love when the thrift store has 50% off Saturdays! I scored this like new toy for $1.60!

I also got Ava and Cora like new clothes but forgot to take a pic!

Pork tenderloin sandwich recipe

One of my most favorite things to eat is a fried tenderloin sandwich. Yum yum yum. I never realized how easy it was to make them; and how yummy a homemade one could taste!

Also -in KC I would pay easily $8.50-$9 for one. Making them at home cost less than that and I made 5!

Here's what you need:
Saltines
Eggs
Paprika
Garlic powder (I used soul food seasoning)
Center cut cubed pork tenderloins

Crush saltines - add seasonings. Dip in egg, then dry ingredients- fry in peanut or vegetable oil

Enjoy!

Drink station

The very cold weather has prompted me to refill our drink station :) hot chocolate, coffee, tea... Marshmallows... MmmmMmm. It helps morale lol

When you are a little... You just get marshmallows :) no complaints

Bacon popcorn

And sister bonding!

We watched Alaska :)

Date night

I went on a date lastnight with this cutie after work. She makes me so happy. I've been wanting to do something special with her.. She helps me so much with her little sister. I love her so much! During dinner she asked me a lot of questions about things I like etc. What a sweetie.
On the way home she had me quiz her on bible stories. She seriously knew everyone I asked her about I was so impressed! I asked her how she knew all that and she told me last month before bed she spent every night reading the bible for beginners and read the entire thing. I love this girl!
