The Ex List

The Season Premiere was On Tonight. Not that I need to be adding any shows to my LIST of shows I watch throughout the week, but since it was on after Ghost Whisperer, I thought I would give it a try.

The main Character, (Played by Elisabeth Reaser) Bella goes in to see a Psychic. The Psychic tells her that she has dated the person who she is supposed to spend her life with. But there is a problem. Shes dated MANY people. The psychic proceeds to tell her that if she doesn't reunite with this man within the year, that she won't ever get married.

So basically she has a year to figure out which Ex is the man for her, or shell remain single forever.

During the first show, she is leaving the psychic's place and a bird poops on her shoulder. She reaches for a free newspaper (to use it as a napkin to get the poo off her shoulder) and sees an advertisement for a concert by a band her Ex was in. She had accidentally broke up with him on his birthday way back when. She goes to one of his concerts, where he sees her, goes up to her, and kisses her. they talk, and he still is hurt by her. Before he saw her he was singing a song about "the bitch who hurt him" Anyways- they talk, and all of the sudden, everyone comes up singing happy birthday, with a cake! Its his BIRTHDAY!
So, of course, with all the signs

• bird pooping- she gets a newspaper- sees that HE is playing in town
• and then during the convo, its his birthday, which is the anniversary of their breakup
  

They hangout the rest of the night.
And of course, She ends up sleeping with him again.

It seems as though she works as a florist becuase it shows her working with flowers. I think its her parents company, because her father is there. Anyways, her ex is all about her, comes to see her at work, and she seems almost agitated with him there. So they leave, take a walk on the beach, where he suggests going back there that night, and going skinny dipping.

She isn't even interested. He seems to crazy for her, so she tells him that she likes him, but she needs him not to jump into things. He tells her he wants more than to just flirt. He wants to be with her, etc. and for her not to be afraid of it. He hugs her, she looks up, and sees a billboard that says RUN. So she leaves- Goes and sees the psychic again.

The psychic doesn't seem very helpful. She tells her that its not him, and thats all she will say.

So now she feels like she has to breakup with him and she really doesn't want to break his heart yet again, becuase the first time he didn't take it well. She says she hopes that he will just break up with her, so her best friend gives her some advice on how to drive him insane, that way he just breaks up with her.

She spends the day with him, and before he leaves for rehearsal, she pretends to be distraught about him leaving, acting really clingly, and it backfires. He decides to drop everything, even his rehearsal to be with her. Oops.

they take a bath together, and she has him wash her back, and knowing she has a huge ugly mole on her back, and hoping to gross him out with it. he starts washing and gets completely concerned, saying that he is going to look for a doctor for her. Instantly she is attracted to how much he cares about her.

She appologizes for ever hurting him. Starts to think maybe he is the one.

She wakes up the next morning (with him still in her bed) leaves her room to talk to her best friend, and also roomate, who recently shaved all her pubes and put like a fake "toupe" on her crotch becuase her boyfriend wasn't liking it bare, and apparently she had gotten it stuck, so Bella had to help her get it off.

After that, Bella gets back in bed with her Ex, completely into him.
That night she gets some of her friends to go to her ex's concert with her. On stage, he dedicates a song to her. It is mean, saying "revenge, youll be single forever, revenge- you'll die alone"

Apparently the joke was on her. He only messed with her again for revenge.

Another ex that she was with (whom she shares custody of a dog with) comes over to see her the next day, and she let him know that she doesn't want to go to their friends wedding with him.
(I guess her best friend is engaged)

She walks down the street, sees a sign for a missing cat, and magically, the cat that was missing next to the sign, so she calls the number, and it happens to be someone she knows back from school. They didn't show their conversation, but It was a man, so she probably will end up dating him on the next episode- since she thinks all these things are happening for a reason.

After the call, she goes outside to hangout with her friends, and its over.

I think the show was pretty good. Some parts were funny even. Anytime you can mix funny, sex, and drama together, its good entertainment. Ill definitely watch next week.
