ok, I am offiicially a grandma.

I have been reading the series- Love Comes Softly.

well, ive read 4 books this week, got book 5 lastnight, and am almost finished with it, having only 80 pages to go .

Its a story about a pioneer family, their live, their struggles, etc. Its a christian book, and Oh so good!

Terrific Tuesday

Well, today its been nice out. I think I am going to go to a bank downtown and apply. I really need some xmas funds lol. I want to get started on shopping, and I am totally stressing out about what to get everyone, etc. I think I have mostly everything I want for people figured out.

• My mom- the glass tea pot/with special teas
• Mark- The new scrabble, the game you can build onto the regular scrabble
• Lexi- Makeup set
• Andrew- Something for his xbox. maybe a game.
• Amanda- Shes the only one I am wondering about... I thought maybe some cookbooks, or make one with her favorite recipes. Shes been wanting one for a few years.
• Emma- Toys. Books. A bike.

Library Reads For Emmy

Emma goes to the library about 3 times a week.

I thought it would be fun to keep track of what books she checks out, starting this week!
We just went, and Emma got, Dancing Granny


I LOVE this book!!! Its good, and the pictures are so nice :) It's a rhyming book.

This was also a REALLY good book!

Some of the books we get are kind of boring.. but these two were really good. Emma loved them! We might go tomorrow to pick out more!! :)

Usually I get her a movie also, but there werent any movies that she hasnt seen. We just returned a Barbie Princesstopia movie, and before that she saw a Animal Babies documentary about the spring and when all the animals are born, what they look like before they are adults.

Im going to look online right now and reserve some kid movies for her :)

Our Day!

Well, Today we woke up early, tidied up a bit, and then went to gymnastics. Emma was sooooo good, on her best behavior! This early morning class was SOOOO much better than the night class.
All the moms were so fun to sit and visit with!!

Afterwards, we went to a Thai restaurant (Emma, my mom and I) and I got pad siew, chicken, noodles, broccoli with soysauce, and other spices. This isnt my pic, but it looked exactly like this:

They also had this yummy tea with coconut milk in it:


It was so good. Very sweet. it almost tasted like it had a hint of pepper in it, kind of like chi tea.
Im not sure what was in it.

After that we went to that antique mall. It was HUGE and so fun to look around.
Emma picked out somehting she wanted and it was a wizard of oz movie, VHS lol.

it looked brand new and it was like 3 dollars. lol Out of ALL the things that is what she wanted.

Anyways- We had a good time. I am about to head off to the library so I can pick up my books :)

Well...

After my last post I looked around on American Girl. Emma is loving baby dolls right now, so I thought I would get her First American Doll, and make it a baby, Shes too young for the older kids.

They are sooooo expensive, but I love American Girl!
I think I'll get her this set for xmas, and for her bday, etc. get her more accessories.

They sell these dolls at Target called Our Generation Dolls. They are WAY cheaper than American Girl Dolls, and are the same size, etc. They are adorable!! I am so buying Emma some!
I have to see what they look like in real life, becuase if they are cheaply made then Id rather just buy her American Girl... **Update** I was just looking at some product reviews and they were complaining saying it was cheap material, etc. Emma WONT be getting these... they got 1 star out of 5 with over 45 out of 50 people who said NOT to buy it.

Park!

We went to the Park today. It was the perfect fall day. It wasn't too cold, maybe about 65-70... breezy, and just beautiful. We went late afternoon when the sun was setting. It was so nice.

Boring day

Today was very boring. We did ABSOLUTELY nothing, but I wanted to post a November post. lol

I've finished reading 3 books in the past week and a half, and am on my fourth book with like 70 pages down. As Alex said, I am Reader McReaderson!
